Alex Bright did such an amazing job on helping me find the Jeep I wanted, he was always calm and never got frustrated, was extremely polite, laughed with me and also got excited with me. Great people to deal with and competitive pricing! I'm from KY, and had my truck towed to the dealership when it broke down on the way to west TX. Old truck needed a new engine, which the price was astronomical! They were able to put me into a nice used truck that was within my price range. Everyone was super helpful and went out of their way for anything that I needed. Only thing they could have done better was to have given me a little more in trade-in value for my old truck. I plan on stopping in to say Hi the next time I'm in the area. Who knows, I may even purchase another vehicle from them.

Kudos to Coleman's mechanics and service department. I have a 2021 Tahoe that started having issues with the horn not working. After 3 weeks at another dealership with no diagnosis, only being told "it's working now. We cannot find anything wrong." My husband picked it up per Chevrolet Customer Service advice. Almost immediately it stopped working again. He then decided to take it to Coleman's. APPROXIMATELY 3 hours in their shop they had found the issue and had the parts ordered. 👏👏

Great service upfront. However I bought a wash/detail service that included an inside wipedown, which I did not receive. I sent pictures of the untouched parts of the inside of my vehicle to the lady who helped me get checked in/out, and was offered a redo cleaning on the inside "if I was in the area" only, with no follow up to assure I was satisfied. - I work 8pm-4pm a hour away from New Boston, it takes ahead of time planning to even bring my vehicle to you guys to be serviced, as I work the same and only times Coleman Chevrolet is open. So I was disappointed, to say the least, in the lack of customer satisfaction offered.

Service is very good but extremely SLOW. Took my truck in for a oil change and tire rotation which comes with a "quick wash" and it took them 2 and 1/2 hours. I had an appointment set for 8am and dropped off truck and didn't get truck back till 10:30 which I felt was WAY to long for this routine service. Wouldn't recommend using them for service work unless you are able to leave a vehicle with them for the day. Service workers are very nice and very helpful

I brought my new 2500 Silverado in for two minor warranty issues after making an appointment a week prior. I arrived 15 minutes early and checked in. The truck with less than 3000 miles on it needed a software update and a front end alignment. The service manager was aware that I was waiting on the vehicle (as noted when I made the appointment) yet I had to wait for 5 1/2 hours. No communication during the wait and when I shared my concern with the service manager there was no apology; rather just excuses that it was not his or the dealers issue or fault. Poor or inadequate staffing levels are not a customers fault As the owner and an attorney, who wants to gain market share back from the Texarkana and Mt Pleasant dealers, I would suggest that you spend resources on improving the customer experience after the sale.....or you won't ever have a chance to grow your business PS. I only left this public response after my Chevrolet survey outlining the issue went unaddressed.

This review would only allow me to leave 1 star but if given the option, I would not have left any stars. My family and I were scammed by the dealership and I advise anyone looking to buy a new vehicle to do so elsewhere and certainly not use this location for service. I took my 2024 Chevy Silverado there on 7/21/25 because the Check Engine light came on. They called me back an hour or so later and said it's "fixed." I went to get the truck and the next day, on my way to Dallas airport, the engine blew up. I reviewed all of the dash cam footage inside and outside the truck and learned that they never even raised the hood on my truck. They simply cleared the code on the truck and called me and collected payment for fixing it. I have all of the video footage of this and a recorded call with the owner, Michael, who told me that this is GM protocol and that I should call a Uber to get me to the airport. This place is my local dealership and they are scammed me. I have had to pay for an every door direct mail campaign to send letters to every mailbox in my town and area zip codes to warn others. I have now waited almost two months because my truck engine is on back order. This dealership scammed us and refused to even attempt to make it right. (Google would not allow me to upload the videos here nor the mp3 phone calls with the Service Department person nor the owner. You can email me for those recordings and I will provide them)

Complete joke, this would sum the service department, along with the complete dealership. Let’s take a step back in time to the first time we asked Coleman to do some work. Long story short, they said they wouldn’t work on a modified vehicle. It was converted professionally to be a RHD for work, mail delivery. They also told us that no other dealership would touch it. Well mama was wrong, we loaded it up and took it to another dealership. No issues at all about the modification and was great to work with. Downfall they were in Sulphur Springs kinda a drive to get too. Move forward a little bit, another issue arises. We take it back to Coleman. Ask/remind them about the modification, they tell us it’s a none issue. We leave it thinking maybe they had a management of change. Finally after 2 weeks of part swapping and/or finally making the correct guess, we were allowed to come get it. How can say that? Great question, one of the parts they told us that was the issue had already been replaced. It was an alternator that was 1 day old before we took it there. Did it fix the issue? I’ll give you two guesses, but you only need one. Yea, NOOO it did not fix the issue not even close. Now, why go to the dealership, another good question. There is warranty on the vehicle, in fact a lifetime one. I’m telling you this to Tee up the last part. So, as life happens another issue pops up. This time we run a code reader and code P0717 is pulled. With my sly detective skills (Google) I see it’s a transmission speed sensor. We call (last Friday) and told that we could bring it Monday. Cool we will be there, load up Monday drive up there and what do ya know they were closed (Labor Day). Hmm, this should have been the first red flag to NOT give them a third chance. We leave it anyway. Call them Tuesday (they are not good at customer service AT all when calling back), they tell us that the transmission is smoked and will need to be replaced. We tell them it has a lifetime warranty, they look it up send it off. Called us back today to inform us that the transmission is worth more than the vehicle and that the warranty was canceled, but we owe $175. Asked how the transmission could be smoked if the code was a speed sensor. I am then informed that the transmission is a CVT and they wouldn’t break it down to get the speed sensor out. So sorry, but mama is wrong again. There is an input and out put speed sensor and they are both on the outside. Thats right (Google again). Circling back around I ask how in the world the warranty could be cancelled, wouldn’t that have to come from the owner of the vehicle not the service department? I mean we did pay for the warranty so we should be the ones to cancel, right. This place is not customer service worthy at all. If so why were phone calls not made when the warranty was cancelled. Why would they be so defensive when I told them that it was nothing more than a speed sensor code before bringing it to them and all of a sudden the whole transmission is smoked. They will grip and rip you off any moment they see. If the owner or GM is reading this, you need to get rid of your service manager. He is toxic and it’s showing with the employees and how they treat customers coming in.

If you want to be treated with respect I would suggest going literally anywhere else! But if you choose to do business here, avoid John Stout at all cost. He was very rude and practically laughed in our face when we were there trying to purchase a vehicle. Ultimately he did not want to be bothered with us and pushed us to do business elsewhere. The next day we purchased a 2023 Tahoe from another Chevrolet dealership with no issues!

Visited with the intent to purchase a pre-owned vehicle advertised on several websites including their own Coleman Chevrolet site. Called ahead to speak to a sales rep to confirm the vehicle was available and discuss general condition. I explained I had financing established and was driving 150 miles to see vehicle just to make certain there were no surprises. Arrived and found the vehicle as described, went to discuss the price. The salesman came back with an added $1,000 to the advertised price, as mentioned in several other reviews for similar reasons. Even the sale rep described the practice as 'deceitful' without batting an eye. Prices were quoted “with dealer financing”. Suggest strongly avoiding this dealership. Apparently Coleman is preying on the those who cannot secure their own financing.

Took my 2009 Jeep Patriot in, transmission issues, won't get out of second gear. Transmission is of the CVT type. They didn't even offer to look at it. I told them another mechanic had scanned the codes on the TCM, but maybe they ought to do it. Wouldn't touch it, said they didn't make replacement parts for that model anymore, despite the fact that there are still thousands of Patriots on the roads. They did quote me $7500 for a new transmission. By the way, this is the second time I've had transmission issues with this Patriot. The transmission went out in 2013, barely five years after I bought it; it was still under warranty and the dealership I bought it from replaced the transmission. I keep finding issues online that might have a bearing on this problem, but I need someone who's willing to look at it before I have to go to the hassle of trying to find another vehicle. I wouldn't be buying it from Coleman's.

Brought my Truck in to get fixed - Was a warranty issue, truck was fixed ( right i hope , time will tell) the warranty company was going to pay by Credit Card but would not agree to the 3% CC fee charged by the dealer. So I get a call from the dealer wanting me to pay the 3% CC fee for the warranty company or they will need to hold the truck hostage until they get a paper check. IT may take days or weeks. I caution anyone who uses Coleman on a dodge truck……first off they were trying to not work on my 2006 Dodge 3500 because of age but I was in a bind and had nowhere else to take it well I should’ve found someone else because I have been completely ripped off I ended up paying 5000$ just to end up breaking down a couple hundred miles away because of terrible workmanship first time I went to pick up my truck I had issues with everything that the technician touched I asked for the HVAC was not working correctly and the passenger mirror was not working and the windshield wiper was broken and had a radiator leak after 5 weeks I got my truck back and I kept it for 1 day parked it less than 3 miles away from the dealership and the only repair that was working was the wipers and the terrible quality was evident the accustic lining was not secured and the windshield washer was not routed correctly and it was not secured properly and the mirror fell off over night it was found that the mirror was defective from the factory Jim assured me that he was going to make everything correct and after two weeks he contacted me that the dash was going to have to be removed and I agreed well the technician was not able to correct the problem because the first time that heater was used it didn’t work and the brand new radiator started leaking when I went to see the problem I saw why it was creamed in and had prying marks that ended up leaking a brand new radiator and it happened over 300 miles away and left me stranded use caution and check the work they do or you like me will be stranded on the side of the road

BUYER BEWARE. My wife and I had a horrible experience trying to buy a truck from Coleman Chevy. The day after(they didn't want to stay open past 6 p.m. although we drove out there to meet them after taking off of work early) we agreed to a price for their vehicle, they call AFTER all the financing is done saying unless we purchase an additional $4,000, 44,000 mile warranty, they would be selling the vehicle to "another gentleman who is on his way to look at the vehicle who DOES want the warranty." The same story I've read on this review page numerous times. Very malicious, dishonest, and not to mention ILLEGAL(under consumer laws) business tactic. The worst experience I've had at ANY dealership with individuals who truly live up to every negative car salesman stereotype.

Do not use this dealership. Never have we ever met sales people so rude and degrading. John, the sales manager, cut me off every time I tried to ask a question. All the sales people told us they were ready to make a deal with us, and they sent us home. The next day, Allen, the financial guy, called saying they want us to pay for a $4,000 warranty or they had another person who wanted to buy the vehicle. It is a waste of time, and they bounce your credit all around to lower your score. We wish we would have never walked into Coleman Cheverolet.

Coleman Motors doesn’t keep their word, and honor their deals especially if there’s lots of easy money to be made by screwing over the customer. So I placed a $6k deposit with them almost 2 years ago (8/25/21) to secure an allocation for a new Corvette Z06, and was assured in writing that would be the only markup on the car. Then I get an email from them a couple weeks back (6/5/23) saying I’m next in line, but the owner has changed his mind in regards to our deal. It stated that he would now be selling the car above the “market adjustment” that was agreed upon at the beginning. They then offered me a full refund of my $6k in writing, but wrongfully withheld the CC fees that they were charged back in August of 2021 even though they’ve been making interest on my money this whole time. The owner was no help as you could expect, and when I asked him if realized how crazy this all was he simply responded that he did not see an issue with it. Then he even went as far as to tell me that if I kept being “hateful” towards him (which is code by the way for asking questions in a polite manor that made him look bad) he would drag this process out another 3-4 months, and I would have to get an attorney to get my money back. On their website under the About Us tab there’s a link for why you should buy from Coleman Motors. The simple answer is you shouldn’t! They claim their business is “Built on the idea of honesty, earning customers’ trust and offering the lowest price possible.”, but all of that couldn’t be more from the truth. My dealings with Coleman Motors turned out to be the worst car buying experience I’ve ever had! So if you’re in the market for a new vehicle I’d suggest you buy it from literally anyone else if you care about being treated right. 10/10 would not recommend!

My wife and I were told by family members that colman was the place to go ..that is where they buy theirs and they get new ones about every 2 1/2 years....so off we go...they had a used vehicle that was really nice and I was more than willing to purchase it...the young salesman was wonderful but when we sat down to talk about the price..it all went sideways...I wanted to negotiate but instead of a kind and friendly conversation that they weren't able to go down on the price the owner and the sales manager became blunt and rude...I felt disrespected over the situation. All of this took place in like 10 minutes..I told my family what happened and they were shocked but they didn't appreciate it either...being rude lost them 3 vehicles I will buy this year..and my family said they will start dealing with Patterson...customer service is still important..you never really know who is in your office...

They ran a credit check and then said they couldn't match what my bank gave Then they wanted to put an extended warranty added to the price of the auto. I said I didn't want that. Then they said we refuse to sell the auto to you. We have the other buyer welling to add the extra warranty. Also ran a Credit check on my without her ok. Does not reflect our expectations at our dealership. I Think it does, when the Sales manager said he has to make money for the Boss.

Horrible experience. We visited the dealership on Wednesday, August 23. Decided on a vehicle we wanted to purchase, but it was in the shop having bumper repaired. We paid a deposit on the vehicle and they called us today (Monday, August 29) when it came in. We were approved for financing, which we did not want to do (we wanted to pay the difference of our trade in in cash), and had agreed on all the terms. When we declined purchasing an additional warranty for nearly $4,000, they refused to sell the vehicle to us. They said someone else was looking at the vehicle who was willing to purchase the warranty. When we asked them why they were showing that vehicle to another customer when we had not only paid a deposit, but also had financing approved, had signed several documents, and was about to wrap the sale all up, they had no answer for us. We believe that was a lie to try to get us to give in. Unethical in the worst way, and we were so angry. We felt bad for you young guy who missed out on a sale. He was a good salesman. Would NOT recommend this dealership.

I bought some spare key fobs and had them programmed to do everything except my vehicle wouldn’t recognize them when they were in vehicle to start truck. Called Coleman service department and they scheduled me an appointment to program the fobs. After they told me that they programmed them after 2 hours of waiting, when I paid them and went home. I checked them and the vehicle wouldn’t recognize them. I called them and confronted them. They wanted me to bring vehicle out there again. Told me I would need to buy cheverolet fobs. I told them I would but wouldn’t pay the $85 portion to program them again when they already charged me for nothing. They informed me I would have to pay for the programming again. I will not ever use this dealership again. Make sure you check your vehicle very good before driving off the lot.

By far the WORST experience I’ve ever had at a dealership service center! Extremely rude and almost hostile *Service Advisor* that would not listen to me. The vehicle was not fixed. I ended up somewhere else that fixed the problem. I would definitely think twice before using Coleman.

Everyone was friendly for sure as we were in the buying process for our truck but once that the deal is done they are on to the next. I'm pretty sure throughout the process we spoke and saw our salesman once and for 10 minutes we were passed off to 2 others after that. Maybe it was because they weren't as busy so everyone jumped in to help but still we are use to having a sales person with us from start to finish. I would seriously suggest recording conversations in regards to promises made on their end or making sure its wrote down. We asked numerous times about a promise made to us and were told several times while we were there in person they would speak with the "saleaman" because that wasn't their "lane" fast forward 5 days after purchase no calls in regards to this so we reach out and wait a day for a response. (Mind you as we were in the buying process we were getting responses very quickly) The response we were given a day after we inquired about the promise was "our salesman stated he never said that and we could purchase what was promised" we bought a 75k dollar truck yet were here talking about a $300 promise made on their end. We have already purchased what was promised to us elsewhere so this is the simple matter of principle and they will Say what they can to make you feel like a small caring dealership but not carry out that way. They offer no military discounts on anything as well for any vets wondering. We will be adding to our vehicle fleet elsewhere. But again they were all nice people just not who we will do business with again. They also have nice trucks(sticker prices are no where close to accurate and you find that out at purchase) but were happy the the 22 dodge ram we bought. Also if they tell you that they can add parts to your truck such as leveling kits, and other things make sure you speak to their service department first because we were told by the salesman all this extra work can be done by them quickly however when sent back to service we were told they either don't do those things or can't get parts. So it goes back to my main point don't take their word for it. Sad truth but that's the way the world is anyways.

Very very bad business takes place here at Coleman Motors. I purchased a new 2022 Ram 3500 on Saturday afternoon at an agreed set price, submitted a credit card for the down payment, and was assured the vehicle had our name on it and we would finish the deal monday morning. Monday morning is here, and they have forced an additional 6,306 dollars worth of warranties and gap insurance, AFTER the deal was already agreed upon on both myself and coleman motors. This is a bait and switch tactic, that happens at the worst of the worst businesses, and unfortantely, happened at your business today. I am a strong repeat commercial vehicle buyer of Dodge vehicles, and wont be buying this truck because I am not willing to pay for these "add ons" that the next customer is supposedly paying. If your dealership did as they said they did or would do, there wouldn't have been a 2nd customer to offer this tactic too on this particular truck.
